Can HCM or HR systems track employee certifications?

Can managers or HR add certificates for someone else?
Yes. Managers add, update and validate certificates for their team, and HR can add them for anyone, one by one or hundreds at once through the API.
How long are certificate records kept?
Every change is logged with who made it, what changed, when, and the value before and after. Certificates are never overwritten, leavers keep their history, and records are kept five years by default.
Can we bring in the certificates we already track?
Yes. We import your spreadsheet or vendor exports in onboarding. With a Credly Workforce licence, Credly badges can also sync once each employee opts in.
Can we split the record by site, region or business unit?
Yes. Location, department, team and job title come from your HR system, and tags cover anything else, such as regions or client accounts.
Do supervisors get the expiry reminders?
The reminders go to the certificate holder. Each manager sees what is active, about to expire or expired for their team, in their team view and in reports.
