1  What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit. They allow the Website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language and other display preferences) for a period of time. Cookies may be first‑party (set by us) or third‑party (set by external services that appear on our pages).

Similar technologies such as pixels, local storage or software development kits (SDKs) work in the same way; we refer to all of these collectively as “cookies”.

2  Why we use cookies

We classify the cookies we use into four categories:

Ref Type Definition
2.1 Essential Enable core features (navigation, secure areas, consent banner).
Consent needed? No – legitimate interest.
2.2 Analytics Help us understand visitor behaviour and improve the site.
Consent needed? Yes.
2.3 Functional Remember preferences or support embedded services (e.g. video).
Consent needed? Yes.
2.4 Marketing Deliver relevant advertising or measure campaign effectiveness.
Consent needed? Yes.

We never place non‑essential cookies unless you have given us prior consent via our cookie banner.

3  Your consent & how we collect it

We use iubenda as our consent‑management platform. When you first visit the Website a banner asks you to:

  • Accept all cookies;
  • Reject all non‑essential cookies; or
  • Customise your choices category by category.

Your decision is stored in an essential cookie for 12 months, after which the banner will re‑appear. You can change or withdraw consent at any time by clicking the small cookie icon in the bottom‑left corner of the page.
