MuchSkills 5.2 is here, with a smarter way to manage certificates, a faster way to find people, and a new report that shows where your projects are short of skills.
Certificates, now smarter and audit-ready
Adding a certificate used to mean typing the institute and the exact certificate name. Now you just type what you have, a name, a vendor, a course code or part of a name, and AI suggests the right certificate.
- 9,700+ certifications. We have added 1,400 more to the library.
- Keep every renewal. You can now store several certificates of the same type, so renewed certifications keep their full history.
- Nothing is ever deleted. Every change to a certificate is tracked, so you can always show what changed and when.
- Former employees stay on record. Certificates of people who have left are kept for five years, so you can prove past compliance to auditors.
Where to find itGo to My Skills › My Certifications › Add a certificate. Managers can add and validate certificates in My Circle, and admins in Settings › Manage Members.
Discover: find the right people in seconds
Search by keyword, or just describe who you need in plain language, and AI works out the rest. Combine skills, certifications, job titles, availability and departments in a single search, for example "AWS and Kubernetes expert available in December".
Then narrow the results with the filters on the left: availability, department, location, role, tags, manager and job title. Each person comes with an AI summary and competence level, so you can compare quickly.

New report: Demand
The Demand report brings together every skill you have added to projects and teams in Team Builder, and shows where you have a gap.
- See which skills your projects need, in which projects, and how many people are required
- Spot shortages and surpluses by level: Expert, Intermediate and Beginner
- Understand delivery risk early, and decide whether to hire or upskill

Easier skill validation for managers
Managers now have a simpler, faster way to validate their team's skills, so profiles stay accurate with less effort.

New integrations: Udemy Business and Credly
- Udemy Business: connect your Udemy courses to skills and roles, so employees see relevant learning in their gap analysis.
- Credly: connect your Credly account and certificates sync into MuchSkills automatically.
A more powerful API
- Improved read APIs for all data types, with more data available
- New write (POST) APIs for goals, employee profiles, employee skills and certifications
