Make sure to invite team leaders to join MuchSkills first
Invite team leaders to join MuchSkills before you invite everyone else to do so. This makes it easier for team members to choose their managers when they are making their own profiles. Similarly, ask team leaders to spend time to make their profiles as detailed as possible as that inspires their teams to make detailed profiles too. All the data is then used to make a detailed org chart. Make sure that everyone understands the importance of completing this exercise.

Once your team account is set up, it’s time to get everyone involved. We recommend a simple and smooth rollout using this deployment plan:
Step 1 – Inform the organization
Set the stage by letting everyone know what’s coming. This helps set expectations and signals that this is important.
Step 1.5 – Invite managers early
We recommend inviting managers a week before everyone else so they can create their profiles and get familiar with the platform.
Step 2 – Train managers
Hold a 30-minute meeting with all managers to walk them through the project, answer questions, and prepare them to support their teams.
Step 2.5 – Invite employees
A few days later, invite all employees and activate your user sync if needed. This ensures everyone receives their invite.
Step 3 – Host a Lunch & Learn for all employees
This is your big launch moment! Hold a 1-hour session where everyone gets trained and inspired to complete their profiles.

Step 4 – Follow up
After the session, check who’s completed their profiles. A gentle reminder works wonders.
Step 5 – Train managers (advanced)
Wrap it up with a dedicated 1-hour session for managers. We’ll dive deeper into how to use MuchSkills for employee talks, finding internal experts, and workforce planning.
