Frequently asked questions
We already plan resources in a PSA tool. Do we replace it?
No. MuchSkills adds the skills layer next to it. Utilisation can come from your planning tool, and skills and availability can go back out through the API.
Where does utilisation come from?
From Team Builder allocations, Jira and Tempo, Dynamics 365 Business Central, or a custom connection to your own planning system. Absence comes from your HR system as dates and percentages.
Can consultants keep their own profiles current?
Yes. Every consultant rates their own skills and adds certificates and project history; managers validate. See Rate your skills.
